Images to help you play recorder notes. Please ‘note’ that High E uses a new technique where you only cover half the back hole with your thumb. Have fun becoming an expert and enjoy the new ‘Whack-A-Note’ game link under the recorder notes. Also, please give feedback on how valuable you think the new learning support materials are for you, thanks!! Mrs Weston

What is your response after watching these highly skilled recorder players?

How a recorder is made

Guide the mouse over the keyboard and the notes will be created on the recorder and on the staff.

Here’s a Jazz version of Bobby Shaftoe.

Could we ‘jazz’ up our version 3/4 recorder players?

  1. Hi mrs weston

My idea is that insted of the cd music to line up we could choose 2 grade 3/4’s and 2 grade 5/6’s
to choose a sone they can play on the recorder and play it into the microphon and every year the people change.

I hope you like my idea 🙂

    • I agree Emily. I will prepare extra learning tasks for those who wish to be challenged further as soon as possible. Thanks for responding to my request for feedback. Enjoy your Wednesday! From Mrs Weston
